Lis Weihl's Heart of Ice

I just finished the third in the Triple Threat Novel series by Lis Wiehl, a former federal prosecutor and currently a legal analyst and commentator for Fox News. The book is about three friends, Nicole a federal agent, Allison a district attorney and Cassidy a TV news co-anchor who all get involved with a crime.  Due to their particular jobs they come at the crime from a different perspective, and assist each other in solving it.

The perpetrator, Elizabeth is a master at deceiving people and befriends one of the women, intending to con her as she does others.  She will go to any means to get what she wants and when she feels the noose tightening she has no qualms about eliminating the threat. She uses others to do the job and point toward another suspect. How do the friends solve the crime and protect the unsuspecting victims? This is an action packed story that will keep you reading and holding your breath. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and am now anxiously awaiting the fourth one due out in October this year.

I receive books free from Thomas Nelson to review honestly.
