In his latest book, MAX ON LIFE from Thomas Nelson, Max Lucado said after thirty plus years in the ministry and as an author he’s been asked a myriad of questions. He responds to the ones he was asked the most.
Like all of us he has grappled with of the same doubts, questions and fears addressed in the book. Some of the answers may seem a little cliché to the average church attendee but even those of us who go to church regularly will find some clarification to our questions and doubts. Questions such as “Where is God when it hurts?” “Why Church?”
Max does not presume to have all the answers but he points us to the one who does. In everyday language, simply with inspiring insight he helps us to see where to find direction and comfort.
I love Max Lucado’s books. He paints word pictures from obscure scripture and events in life. I have never been disappointed in his writings. I enjoyed this books and I am sure it will be of immeasurable assistance when talking to others.
I received this book free from Thomas Nelson for an honest unbiased review.
