Since there with no cell phone service and finding an old college roommate as one of the owners of the camp, he becomes engaged with the environment, the animals, and his college roommate who leads him into some self-evaluation by observing the animals of the Serengeti.

Each chapter is about one of seven of the Serengeti animals and the survival skill they posses that help them to not only survive but thrive. These skills are also necessary components that each of us humans can possess but we often don’t know we have or we never fully develop.

At the end of each chapter is a summary of the skill and a suggestion as to how to maximize it. Stefan suggests that we each seek to discover the unique survival skill that we possess.

I received this book free from Thomas Nelson for my honest unbiased review.
