Covenant Child is a story of twin sisters. They are orphaned and although they had a stepmother they loved and who wanted to raise them, their maternal grandparents win custody. This begins the tumultuous life's of these two who are lied to and have no idea they are actually heiresses.

I've read several Terri Blackstock books so knew this would be an interesting book. You get frustrated at the system that would give the girls to the grandparents. You will also go from empathy for the girls to wondering how they could sink to do some of the things they do.

When Amanda, the stepmother, tries to contact them as they get older they don't trust her, especially when they are told there is an inheritance they may have access to.

Terri Blackstock writes interesting stories, you will enjoy this one.

I received this book free from Thomas Nelson for an honest review.
