I love Karen Kingsburys books so did not hesitate to request this one of hers and that it was a Baxter Family story was an added bonus. My only regret is that I hadn't read the Bailey Flanigan series yet and found out who she married. ;-(

In this chapter of the lives of the Baxters Karen seeks to bring some closure to the family. She brings the whole family into focus as she has each of them remember a time in their lives which was a life changing event and how it affected the whole family. They all plan to gather for John Baxter's, the patriarch of the family, 70th birthday. Again they are faced with a life altering situation where their faith is tested.

Karen has the characters in her books lead ordinary lives who serve an extraordinary God that answers their prayers, albeit not always the way they ask.

You will be challenged and encouraged by this book as well as any of Karens other books.

I received this ebook free for a honest review from Zondervan & Netgalley.
