When I saw COME TO THE TABLE by Neta Jackson on the list for books to review it was a no-brainer for me to request it. I got hooked on her books with the Yada Yada Prayer Group series and read the subsequent books as she releases them. This series is good, mainly because she keeps the original characters in the books but not as the main ones.

In this series the narrative is about a group of college kids who have gotten connected to the SouledOut Church where several of the Yada Yada women attend. Through various "coincidences" the young people learn what life is truly all about.

Kat, Nick, Brygitta are  subletting an apartment for the summer. There were four however, one of their roommates, Olivia, goes home which leaves them with an available spot since they were sharing the rent. Kat invites a homeless mother and her son, who just happens to be the upstairs neighbors daughter and grandson, to move in.

It's a story woven with romance, tension, causes and lots of Jesus moments as the young people learn that just having good ideas is not enough. They also much discover how to handle all the obstacles and curves of this journey we are all on.
I was provided this book by Thomas Nelson for an honest fair review.
