AND THE LIGHT SHINES by Terri Wallace is futuristic  and interesting, if not somewhat scary in the possibilities coming to pass in some degree.

The premise is that, apparently during the tribulation, Christians are gathered up, tortured, deprogrammed and even killed. It follows two men in particular, Michael and Chris. Their struggle with God and then the dangers of following Him and showing Him to others in the face of being tortured for doing so.

It was a little hard to follow at times due to the way it was written.  It was clumsily written and wordy in places that would have benefited for more editing.  He did state that he'd written this years ago and it was put away until recently.

Terri did attempt to convey God's faithfulness and love.  He will never leave us and give us the strength and ability to stand if we will cling to Him.

I can't say I would recommend this to others but I will say that if and when we have to endure such as is written about here that I would be able to keep my eyes on Him and stand as these men did.
I received this book free for an honest review from Westbow Publishers through Thomas Nelson
