THE WEDDING SHOP is the third book of the series and I'm not sure if I can say enough about Rachel Hauck's ability to captivate your imagination and keep you spellbound. I had read the second book, and even reviewed it. After finishing this one I had to read the first one which I wish I had read first.  All three books can be read as a standalone, but are definitely intertwined.

The wedding shop is an abandoned building that draws two young girls who make a pinkie pledge to one day reopen. As often happens, life takes them in different directions. Haley goes to college then the military. Tammy stays in Hearts Bend, gets engaged to her childhood crush. However, life throws them a curve and Tammy dies from an aggressive form of brain cancer, Haley has a destructive relationship that causes her to leave the military and return home.

Determined to reopen the Wedding Shop for Tammy she encounters Cole, Tammy's fiancé who has bid on tearing the building down. Long buried attraction to each other resurfaces and guilt ensues. Will they be able to move pass the guilt and build a relationship? Will Haley succeed in reopening the Wedding Shop?

I received this book free for an honest review from Zondrrvan and Thomas Nelson Publishers.
