The Ride of a LIFETIME by Kitty McGregor was not an easy book to read. It started slow, got better than it delved into witches and demons. With today's preoccupation on the occult and things spiritual that are not of God I can see where someone would feel the necessity to write along these lines.

The story focuses on the McCade family. Lucas is a rodeo bull rider who finds Christ, realizes he's  neglected his family so leaves the rodeo circuit. He takes a job on a ranch in Oklahoma and moves his family from Texas. Hannah, his wife, has become constant and continually prayed for Lucas. Connor is the teenage son who has become comfortable with an absent father and resents the sudden changes.

Things are not what they seem, people are not what they seem and things spiral out of control. Will god be able to move in people and turn things His way?

I received this book free for an honest review from WestBow Press, a Division of Thomas Nelson Publishers.
