Victoria Bylin’s THE TWO OF US is a study in listening, hearing and trusting God. It’s a story of two people who struggle with their past and letting God show them a future.

Mia Robinson is a nurse caring for her eighteen year old sister, Lucy, who is young and impulsive. After a broken engagement she decides to refocus and applies to work for an international aid organization.

Jake Tanner is a former police officer injured in a bomb blast that takes the life of his partner. He mentor’s her adult son, Sam, and strives to start a camp for the children of fallen officer’s.

Lucy plans on marrying Sam after she gets pregnant and Mia is determined to stop them. Jake, knowing the character of Sam is equally determined to help them.

What neither Jake nor MIa expect is the attraction between.

I received a free copy from Bethany House a division Baker Publishing Group. No review, positive or otherwise, was required – all opinions are my own.
